Our Story

No one would argue that life tends to move pretty quickly — going from thing to thing in an effort to get it all done.  It is out of that apparent chaos that the vision for RESET came to be.  During a missions trip to New York City, one of the busiest, fastest cities where moments of peace are rare, we experienced God in a new way.  The worship times that we had went beyond just singing a song about God’s love…it was as if we were living the truth of the words.  From that, God put a desire in us to bring this passion back to North Carolina…to allow God to hit the RESET button in our lives.

Living in a fast-paced culture, we tend to get wrapped up in what we do, causing us to forget who we are.  The focus of RESET is to be a place where we can pause and allow God to bring us back to our original design, to function in the way we were intended as His creation.

Our hope is that God will use RESET to restore those “factory settings”.  Through worship, we will see the truth of who God is and who we are.  We believe that it begins with reflection and then overflows into our worldview — the way that we see all areas of life such as missions, ethics, absolutes, commitments, and relationships.  We want to see the world as God intended.  We want to see transformation…real lasting change…in us and in the world.
